@earth TECHNOLOGY: Delivering a Solid and Satisfying Driving Experience is Mitsubishi Motors’ theme for the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013. The MMC stand is coordinated in red to reflect the passion with which the company approaches motor vehicle development and manufacturing. At the stand the company shows how @earth TECHNOLOGY – the raft of technologies that realize a Solid and Satisfying Driving Experience – will shape MMC cars in the near future. Taking pride of place and being given their world premieres are two SUV concept models and one minivan concept model which all adopt many @earth TECHNOLOGY elements. An entertainment stage will be used to introduce many elements of @earth TECHNOLOGY with lively and interest-grabbing displays and performances. Display models will allow visitors to experience new human interface technologies used in the concept models as if they were actually in the cars. The eK kei class lineup on the stand gives world premieres to both Standard and Custom variations of the new eK Space super-height wagon due to be launched early next year. From the world of motorsport the MiEV Evolution II prototype which placed second in the EV division of the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is joined by the Outlander PHEV which became the first PHEV to compete and finish the Asia Cross Country Rally this year. MMC’s efforts to realize the exciting potential of electric power will be introduced to the accompaniment of dance routines. A corner at which visitors will be able to experience and enjoy some of the outstanding features of the e-Assist active safety technologies and Clean Diesel Engines is another feature of the stand where MMC will be describing and demonstrating elements of @earth TECHNOLOGY as it evolves from the present to the near-future. MMC extends a warm invitation for one and all Tokyo Motor Show visitors to visit its stand.
