On Tuesday, November 19, the day before the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 Press Days (Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21), the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Akio Toyoda) will hold a press-only event called “Mobilityscape Tokyo” at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo for 1,000 press members from both Japan and abroad.
The aim of this first-time-ever event is to deepen understanding not only of the Tokyo Motor Show, but also of Japan’s automobile industry among members of the media in Japan and abroad. The agenda will include a consecutive speech session featuring top executives from five chair and vice-chair company members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc., which is the organizer of the Tokyo Motor Show; talk session; and photo session with top executives of the 14 members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association and the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 co-organizers.
After these sessions, a reception will be held in a separate venue so that press visitors can mingle. Vehicles and products that embody the historical innovation of the 14 members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association will also be on display.
This event is for the press registered with the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 and requires advance registration to participate. Please confirm the event outline and apply if you wish to attend.

Speech Session (15:01 - 15:21)
Top executives of the five chair and vice-chair company members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi) will deliver a speech consecutively. They will communicate the future vision of the automobile industry, such as the artisan techniques of Japan’s automobile industry and the possibilities of innovation that they drive.
Talk Session (15:21 - 15:50)
In response to these speeches, a moderator will ask them questions in order to further deepen the themes they present.
Photo Session (15:50 - 16:00)
Top executives of the 14 members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association will take the stage for a photo session. This will be followed with top executives of the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 co-organizers (Japan Auto Parts Industries Association, Japan Auto-Body Industries Association, Japan Automotive Machinery & Tool Manufacturers Association, and Japan Automobile Importers Association).
<Reception> Time: 16:30 - 17:30 Venue: Ballroom
A reception will be held in a separate venue, providing an opportunity to chat with domestic and international press in a demonstration of Japanese hospitality. Vehicles and products that embody the historical innovation of the 14 members of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association will also be on display, with company top executives providing explanations of these products.
