As part of the Tokyo Motor Show’s efforts to facilitate show visitors’ side trips to the surrounding Tokyo waterfront area, Tokyo Motor Show News, the show’s daily publication media, will contain discount coupons to nearby commercial facilities, such as restaurants. Tokyo Waterfront Area Stamp Rally

The “Tokyo Waterfront Area Stamp Rally” will take place during Show dates at stores and establishments that are members of the Rinkai Fukutoshin Machizukuri Council. In collaboration with Tomica by Tomy Co., Ltd., which is an ongoing sponsor of the Tokyo Motor Show, participants who collect a specified number of original Tomica stamps will receive presents such as Tomica models by lottery.

Objectives The event will be held at the same time as the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 in order to attract visitors, and draw them to Machizukuri Council member establishments and stores, helping vitalize the Tokyo waterfront area.

Stamp Rally Contents Tomica original stamps will be installed in 17 locations at Machizukuri Council member facilities etc. The stamp board consists of nine squares, and the first 10,000 participants who cover three locations (in the form of bingo) will win an original Tomica plastic folder (first-come, first-served). Participants have the additional opportunity to enter a lottery according to number of bingo hits, and the first 100 winners will receive fantastic prizes such as a “Highway Twisting Interchange” toy or “Tomica” car.

Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks 2013

The Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks held every winter will commence on Saturday, November 23 to coincide with the start of the Tokyo Motor Show. This event will be held for six consecutive weeks through Saturday, December 28. Fireworks created in the image of automobiles and its parts (steering wheels, wheels) are scheduled.

Working and Rare Cars Exhibition

The Rinkai Holdings Group will again organize the “Working and Rare Cars Exhibition,” which was very popular when held last time, to coincide with the Tokyo Motor Show. Self-Defense Force vehicles, police cars, fire engines, and Metropolitan Expressway vehicles, as well as replica cars will be exhibited.

Tokyo Motor Show Commemorative Illumination

Again this year, Tokyo Motor Show venue and its surrounding area, including Rinkai Line Kokusai Tenjijo Station will be illuminated in rainbow colors so that visitors can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.
