Tokyo, October 30, 2013 - Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, announced today its presentation at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013. The main theme of the Subaru exhibition will be "Confidence in Motion" which corresponds to the Subaru brand statement. Through its models and interactive display booth, Subaru will present its future vision of "driving enjoyment and peace of mind" that the brand is committed to offering its customers.At Tokyo Motor Show 2013, Subaru will introduce for the first time in the world the new sports tourer "LEVORG" (prototype). This model was developed to propose the next ideal in automobiles to the Japan market. Subaru devoted all of its latest technologies into the development of this model which merges driving, safety and environmental friendliness at an exceptional level.The future of Subaru will be conveyed through its other displayed models as well. Technologically, Subaru's aims are represented in SUBARU VIZIV EVOLUTION CONCEPT and the next trend in urban SUVs is suggested with SUBARU CROSS SPORT DESIGN CONCEPT.

The dawn of a new age of individual mobility, a further aesthetical highlight in the mid-range segment and fascinating perspectives for extremely sporty driving pleasure will mark the presence of premium car manufacturer BMW at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013.The international automobile show, which is taking place for the 43rd time, is showplace for the Japan premiere of the purely electrically powered BMW i3 and the plug-in hybrid sports car BMW i8, as well as the world premiere of the BMW 4 Series Convertible. Furthermore, the BMW Concept M4 Coupe offers a preview of the next generation of exceptional high-performance sports cars. In addition, the new BMW X5, the BMW Concept Active Tourer Outdoor and the BMW R nineT will be making their first appearance at an Asian car show.

The new MINI now makes its first appearance to the public in the world at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The new edition of this globally successful model will therefore be one of the highlights at the international motor show in the capital of Japan. BMW ALPINA has its largest ever presence at this year's Tokyo Motor Show, with 6 ALPINA automobiles on display at its stand. Among the models on display the new super sports diesel model, the D3 BiTurbo, makes its Japanese market debut, having premiered at September's Frankfurt Motor Show. ALPINA is also pleased to announce that the Tokyo Motor Show will play host to the World Premiere of a much-anticipated new ALPINA model. Full details of this new model will be revealed at the ALPINA Press Conference at 9.30am on Wednesday 20th November. In addition to these two debuts, the new for 2013 B3 BiTurbo, the fastest ever ALPINA 3-Series model, and the recently updated B5 BiTurbo and D5 Turbo models will be on display alongside the elegant B6 BiTurbo Coupe. Furthermore, a wide range of ALPINA parts and branded goods will also be exhibited at the ALPINA stand.

In Tokyo, Porsche is showcasing performance and luxury for discerning drivers. At this event, Porsche is presenting the fastest, most powerful and most luxurious model in the Panamera range: With a power output of 570 bhp and a top speed of 310 km/h, plus a particularly extensive and top-quality range of features, For the first time ever, an Executive version of the Panamera Turbo S is also available with a wheelbase that has been extended by 15 centimetres. New compact SUV “Macan” will make its debut in LA Show but also coming to Tokyo. Macan falls under the compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment – and is making a striking impression from the very outset: maximum acceleration and braking values, vast engine power, extreme agility and optimum steering precision. What's more, all of these features are teamed with a high level of comfort and everyday suitability. Alongside the Macan, Porsche is celebrating premieres of the new open-top models from the 911 model line, the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. 911 50th anniversary edition is for celebrating 50 years of 911 since its debut at IAA in 1963. Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, the world’s fastest one-make series, will be competing with new racing machine, 911 (type 911) GT3 Cup from 2014 season. Another high-light, Panamera S-E-Hybrid, the world’s first plug-in hybrid to the luxury class, offers 416 hp of system power. Acceleration time from a standstill to 100 km/h is 5.5 seconds and top speed is 270 km/h with only 3.1 l/100 km fuel consumption (NEDC). There will be also two mid-ship sports cars, Cayman S and Boxster. Together with them, sporty SUV, Cayenne GTS in Porsche stand at Tokyo Motor Show 2013.

Mazda Motor Corporation will showcase the recently-released Mazda Axela (known as Mazda3 overseas) with a variety of engine types at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Mazda's latest models and technologies, such as to the Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV and the flagship Mazda Atenza (Mazda6 overseas), will also be on display. Both models feature SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and the KODO—Soul of Motion design theme. The 43rd Tokyo Motor Show opens to the public on November 23 at Tokyo Big Sight. The Mazda Axela goes on sale in Japan on November 21.

The Suzuki booth’s theme of the Tokyo Motor Show exhibits is: “Let’s Create a Brand New Story”. Suzuki recognizes that the daily life of each and every customer is a story, and by adding something to each of those stories, our desire to create different, brand new stories together with our customers, is put into the theme.Based on the Suzuki slogan of “Small Cars for a Big Future,” the concept cars to be exhibited at the show offer cars that are currently in demand, cars that should be available in the near future, and cars for the more distant future. In order to build a Brand New Story that will add excitement and passion to the daily lives of customers around the world, the cars are packed with Suzuki’s attractive products and unique leading-edge technology.In addition, the design of the Suzuki booth features an S-shaped border that depicts lightness and softness to an open construction that expresses a bright future. An ultrawide panoramic screen measuring 3.6m x 40m is set at the back of the stage. Introduction videos of the concept cars will be streamed across the main stage to show the Brand New Story of Suzuki and its customers in a beautiful image, which were produced by movie director Shunji Iwai.
